FVB takes its next step in Stockholm with a new and larger office in Kista from where the company will continue to expand within property, distribution and production.

FVB will concentrate its activities in the Stockholm area from the new office in Kista. The current office has a staff of 26 working with everything from production and distribution of district heating, district cooling and biogas to property-related energy services.

“We intend to grow within all these areas and need to replace upcoming retirements and expand with new personnel. We see clear potential for expansion within property,” says Office Manager Johan Pettersson.

This development is driven by growing heating costs, stricter requirements for energy efficiency and that more properties and companies will be covered by the requirement for energy analyses. The FVB office in Kista has certified energy experts and analysts to help with this process.

“We also have the skills to bridge the gap between district heating customers and energy companies. Higher district heating costs mean that many customers are looking for heating alternatives. We can help them with energy efficiency, but we can also help the energy company.

Energy efficiency affects district heating production but also offers opportunities for optimising the district heating system, lowering system temperatures and using surplus heat sources more efficiently, which boosts the competitiveness and financial viability of district heating,” explains Pettersson.
